Requests arrive on your site, and you answer them.
Someone picks a date, leaves a name, a number and a note. It lands in your dashboard as pending. You confirm it or decline it, and either way they get an email.

It is a request inbox, not a live table plan
There is no floor plan, no live availability and no automatic double-booking guard. Someone tells you when they would like to come; you say yes or no.
For a room where one person knows the tables, that is usually the whole job. If you need a seating engine that holds real-time inventory, this is not that, and we would rather you knew before you signed up than after.

The same person, whichever door they came through.
A booking, a stamp and an account are three things about one customer, so Helm keeps them as one record. That is why user accounts sits in this list next to loyalty — the card is attached to the person, not the other way round.
A stamp card on their phone
Stamps or points, your reward, your threshold. Staff scan it at the counter from their own login, and every stamp records who gave it.
Offers that stop on their own
Double stamps on Tuesdays, buy-two-get-one, a free item at ten. You set when it applies and it switches itself off.
They sign in on your site
No app to download. The card, their bookings and their history live in an account on your own domain.

Most of them are standing outside, reading the menu on a phone.
Who visited, where they came from, and which pages they actually read. Enough to know whether the Friday post did anything.
Included on Standard and Business. On Lite it is $20 a month as an add-on — worth saying plainly rather than letting “included” do the work.
Before you start
Three things Helm does not do, said now rather than later.
There is no restaurant template
You do not pick “café” and get a site. Your sections get shaped around your actual menu during setup. Slower to say, and true.
No live table availability
Bookings is a request inbox with a confirm and a decline. If you need real-time seating inventory, Helm is not it.
No online ordering or delivery
Menus, yes. Taking payment for a takeaway order, no — not on this set of modules.
